If you're into composting or just want to fool around with some arranging there's a great software program from Finale--Finale Guitar (FinaleMusic.com).  It even allows you to put composition into tab form. You can have one staff or multiple settings. You can add other instruments, listen to your composition and then print it out in an extremely professional look.

This is the classic seating position but I have always preferred the guitar to the side, sort of like a jazz guitarist would hold his guitar. Hey, I sit this politically correct way  too but I feel more comfortable the other way (besides, sit the wrong way and other guitarists look at you like you're a novice--yeah, they get that little smirk on their faces and talk about it behind your back).

The lucky jazz guitarist; not only can he
sit the way he wants but he can wear
that cool sport jacket too.

Currently I'm using a Garcia (from Sherry-Brenner in Chicago) but I'm searching for a new classical guitar by catalog. It's difficult because obviously you can only judge it by the price, description and appearance--not the sound. Price range: under a thousand. I can't stand "quiet" guitars. So  I guess you could say I'm looking for a big voice guitar. What's the sense of playing intricate music that only the player can hear.
